Before asking why meditation is so powerful, we should have a look at the benefits we can reap from it at almost no cost. It takes some investment of time & patience. The benefits mentioned earlier cannot be achieved overnight; they require months, or even years, of consistent practice.

Meditation helps us to rejuvenate ourselves, expand our positive-mindedness & outlook, and reduce the stress raised by our hectic schedule. We don’t need to remember how we can benefit from all those things.

The Vedas, written by our wise ancestors, describe this practice of meditation for a reason. The Vedas explain the power of meditation. They found a way to expand our vision, enlighten our potential, and increase our abilities. All we need to do is maintain trust in them and follow the path they have outlined, albeit in a modified manner.

We can’t expect ourselves to go into a jungle & practice meditation in search of a higher self. As we are already living in an allegorical jungle, investing some minutes in our lives is not going to hurt us; on the contrary, the power of meditation will prove to be beneficial for us.
